Pasture raised meats for the consumer who cares

What this means - pasture raised beef and pork for the consumer who cares about:

MCREY FARM is located in the rolling hills of north-west Broome County, New York. At MCREY FARM we believe that all animals should be raised as naturally as possible, with access to the outdoors and sunshine and grass. We also believe that no animal should be subjected to chemical manipulation to speed its growth or otherwise alter its natural characteristics. Our fields are not certified organic, but we have always managed our farm in accordance with organic standards. We raise purebred Tamworth pigs for meat and seedstock, and we raise and sell grass-fed beef. All our pork and beef is processed at a USDA facility so that we can sell retail cuts, you do not need to buy a half or whole animal. You can find us at the Otsiningo Park Farmers' Market on Saturday, 9 AM to 2 PM throughout the summer, and at the Binghamton Farmers' Market in downtown Binghamton on Fridays,9 AM to 2 PM. or you can buy from us at the farm any time of the year. Of course, if you want to stock your freezer you can buy a half or whole beef or pork. Contact us here at the farm for price and availablility.

Tamworth pigs are a heritage breed and are on the threatened list of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy (ALBC). We raise purebred animals and keep the best animals for breeding. If you are interested in purchasing breeding stock please contact us. If you have purebred or registered Tamworths and are interested in selling seedstock or swapping genetics we are always interested in diversifying our gene pool. See our Tamworth pig page to see our price list and for more information.

We are getting started in the beef cattle business. We are currently transitioning to an all Belted Galloway herd. We also have a few Angus, and Herford crossed with Limousin. Our goal is to raise good tasting, tender beef that is raised entirely on our own grass and hay, with no unnecessary antibiotics or hormones.
Please visit our beef page to see our price list, and to learn about how healthy eating grassfed beef can be.
